walk the line
I skipped the Oscars a week ago, not caring much about any of the movies in the running for anything. However, I must say that Reese Witherspoon deserved to win an award for her portrayal of June Carter in Walk the Line.
This is a great movie. The actors became the characters, made me believe I was right in the middle of their story, rooting for them. The movie was a bit hard to watch in places, almost too true, too real, especially when Johnny was using drugs and finally drying out from his addictions.
Anyway, if you haven't seen Walk the Line, I recommend that you rent it some evening.

I've been hearing good things about it, I'll have to rent it. Thanks.

That was such a great movie, Robin. I agree! A friend and I rented it one night while hubby was at work, and I loved it so much that the next day, I told my husband he had to rent it and watch it with me, because I knew he'd love it, too.
I have to admit, I sort of developed a lil' crush on Joaquin Phoenix, too. :-)
