idol 7: second four out

Well, Idol fans. Another Idol week has come to an end, and another four young folks with big dreams have gone home. No major surprises tonight, except it should have been Amanda who was cut loose in place of either of the other two that did go. She stood out in the group sing as the poorest singer of them all.

Farewell, Alexandrea, Alaina, Jason, and Robbie. Wishing you all the best.

Hi, Robin!! I did not get to watch the results show, and only parts of the past two nights. I do, however, agree with your analysis. Right now, my fondest wish is for Young David to take all. I have NEVER liked the song "Imagine," because of the lyrics. By the time David was through with me, it was like my favorite song in the world!! :) Love that boy.

I love David A. (IMAGINE, not ONE).

Yes, Amanda needed to go before the others. Me and Stan had guessed Amanda, Jason, Robbie, and were unsure on the 4th.

We have a new voting strategy. Instead of voting for the best, we are going to vote for the 2nd worst, just to eliminate the very worst.

I was not surprised at the guys, but VERY surprised which girls left. I also figured Amanda would be gone, and guessed Kady would be leaving as well. Even though her performance this week was not her best, I thought Alexandrea would be on the show for a while anyway. And poor Alaina, I just ached for her as she cried. Paula had good encouragement for them all, that this is only the beginning for them. I hope it's true! I also felt bad for Jason...Simon didn't need to continue with the criticism. I appreciate that he is direct, but there's a point where all he's doing is pouring salt into the already painful wound, hurting not helping.

I posted videos of my four favorites so far at my place. I thought that last week was not as good as the week before.
