Hat tip to Cindy at Notes in the Key of Life for steering me toward this quiz.
You Should Be a Film Writer |
![]() You have a knack for details and dialogue. You can really make a character come to life. Chances are, you enjoy creating all types of stories. The joy is in the storytelling. And nothing would please you more than millions of people seeing your story on the big screen! |
The first line isn't quite accurate. I don't so much see scenes like a movie in my mind. I feel them in my gut. Characterization and dialogue are two of my strengths, and the joy of storytelling is why I write. I was a storyteller/entertainer from early childhood. And it would please me to see one of my novels up on the big screen.

I would love to see one of your stories on the big screen, Robin. I hope in the future that more films will be made from a Christian worldview. I saw a Janette Oke novel on the Hallmark channel that was very well-produced and well-acted (I think it was "Love Came Softly." It featured one of the actresses that's on "Grey's Anatomy." I know that's the small screen, but it shows it can be done!

Loved the quiz, Cindy and Robin! I, too, came up a film writer. I don't see scenes in my head, though. I hear voices....lots of voices! :)

Mine came up film writer too, but I know that film writers fill in so much more of the details in scenes that I would never think of. (Or maybe I'm thinking of a script for a play...)
I do see scenes in my mind and I also sence emotions of my characters and yes the voices! I haven't got smell going on though, not very much. I read in a different post that smell was being neglected and that it is important. Hmmm
